Terms of Service

Conditions for using the LupaDólar mobile and web apps.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using LupaDólar you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify users via in-app messaging or email; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Service Description

LupaDólar is an informational platform that aggregates USD/PEN exchange rates, charts, and insights from multiple sources in Peru. The app does not execute trades or provide financial advice. Users remain responsible for verifying exchange rates and complying with any legal obligations before transacting elsewhere.

3. Eligibility

You represent that local law allows you to install and use mobile and web apps. If you are a minor, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian authorizes your use of LupaDólar and acceptance of these Terms on your behalf.

4. Accounts & Security

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, suspicious activity, or attempts to interfere with service integrity.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code.
  • Scrape or harvest data beyond normal app usage.
  • Use automation or bots that overload our infrastructure.
  • Upload or distribute malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or engage in fraudulent behavior.
  • Use the app for unlawful purposes or to misrepresent exchange rates to third parties.

6. Premium Subscriptions

  • Premium features are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing systems. Pricing and renewals are displayed in the respective store.
  • Billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed directly by Apple or Google; follow the store instructions to modify or cancel your subscription. Refund requests must be submitted via the corresponding store policies.
  • We may adjust features included in free or premium tiers; material changes will be communicated in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, graphics, trademarks, datasets, and code related to LupaDólar remain the property of LupaDólar (owned and operated by Luis Galindo) or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or derivative creation is prohibited.

8. Third-Party Content

Exchange rates, charts, and analytics rely on third-party data sources. We do not guarantee accuracy or availability of those feeds. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for external content or policies.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee continuous, error-free operation or exact exchange rate accuracy.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying exchange-rate data or other insights before acting on them; any trades, conversions, or financial decisions you make after viewing the App are undertaken at your own risk.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the app is limited to the amounts you paid for premium features in the preceding three (3) months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify LupaDólar against claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

11. Data Handling

See the Privacy Policy for details about how we collect, use, and retain personal data. By using the service, you consent to those practices.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for breach of these terms or if required by law. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting the app or your account does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts of Lima, Peru, unless mandatory local law requires another forum.
