1. Scope
This policy applies to the public LupaDólar website. Visitors can read USD/PEN rates and articles without registering, signing in, purchasing a subscription, or providing financial information.
2. Technical data
Providers that deliver and protect the site may process technical data needed to operate it, such as IP address, date and time, browser, requested page, and security logs. LupaDólar does not use this information to execute currency exchanges or build financial profiles.
If you email us, we process your address and message only to respond and keep reasonably necessary follow-up records.
3. Rates and external links
Quotes come from public third-party sources. A third party’s own terms and privacy policy apply when you visit an exchange provider or another external link.
4. Analytics, heatmaps, and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand in aggregate how visitors find and use the site, including pages viewed, general traffic source, device, browser, and interactions with the rate comparison tools. Google explains how it uses data on partner sites.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand the browsing experience through interaction metrics, heatmaps, and session recordings. These tools may capture actions such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation together with technical device information. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We do not deliberately send financial information or free-form field contents to these tools. Directory searches are measured using query length and result count, not the text entered.
5. Advertising and consent
LupaDólar uses or may use Google AdSense to display advertising; ad availability depends on Google’s approval and configuration. When the service is active, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver, measure, and protect ads. Users can manage personalization in Ads Settings.
Where required, we present consent choices and communicate the visitor’s selection to Google and Microsoft services. If analytics storage is not granted, these tools may operate in a limited mode without persistent cookies.
6. Retention and requests
Contact messages and technical logs are kept only as reasonably necessary for support, security, and applicable obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us by emailing luis.galindo@luisgalindoh.com . We may request enough information to verify the request.
7. Children
The content is informational and is not designed to intentionally collect personal data from children.
